Sadly, I have no pretty pictures of myself to feature here. I’m REALLY tired and I just set this blog up and haven’t taken Insta-worthy shots of myself anytime in the last several years (since becoming a mom… LOL).
But thanks so much for taking the time out of your day to visit this blog! I’d love to grow it into a resource for new moms, pregnant women, and moms who want to work from home.
I’m a mom of a toddler with twins on the way and I run an online business as a virtual assistant + web designer. I’ve also worked retail management for seven years and although I learned a lot, it kind of made me want to die. So I’m super passionate about creating content that helps other moms launch and grow their businesses.
And obviously, I write about baby stuff, too! Because babies are complicated and messy and we should all have mom blogs to swap baby-related tips.
But that wasn’t always how I saw things. I never wanted to be a mom. And actually, I was still saying this at 19, 20, 21, and 22 – then, OOPS!
I have an amazing daughter now and although I became a mom on accident, it was the best accident ever. We have twins on the way, so at this point we are fully committed to the whole family life thing and I’ve learned to accept “mom” as one of my titles. It’s a title I never assumed I’d have.
My story isn’t all that different from thousands of moms around the world and I’ve found that one of the things that helped me the most after discovering I was pregnant was reading blogs and watching YouTube videos so that I could better prepare myself for motherhood.
That’s why I started this blog. I want it to be a straight-to-the-point resource for other mom and moms-to-be. I don’t want to write fluff and nonsense.
I want to help at least one mom out there who is struggling with her day-to-day or who wants to find a way to make a living from home. It’s incredibly empowering to feel more on top of things when you’re a mom and I recognize that and believe in it hard. It’s corny, but I’m so thankful that the internet exists and we have things like blogs and YouTube channels to connect with each other!
I truly hope that you find some info on this blog that helps you in some way, whether you’re looking for pregnancy-related information, newborn care tips, or work from home job ideas.
While this isn’t baby-related whatsoever, I do run a service-based business (separate website) for passionate female entrepreneurs who are ready to uplevel their online presence. If you need help in any of these areas, we should talk!
